Couldn't a Vorwerk vacuum-cleaning system be considered sort of like a Kirby?an upright vacuum that can be converted to do other functions--like the Kirby. |

A Kirby is a full size machine that has conversion processes using the heavier motor unit - the Vorwerk uprights are like stick vacuums, the Sebo Felix is very much a design that I think Sebo wanted to copy Vorwerk and produce. I wouldn't say they were the same -but similar in so far as offering different cleaning components and uses. |

Welcome aboard Siny!
I have not used Vorwerk in many years. Our little post office in the town I grew up had one. They threw it out and of course I managed to bring it home. The fan housing was broken and I could not get it fixed at that time.
Someday, I will have another one in my collection.

We certainly are "international". Tell us more about yourself. You'll meet great people here. So, INDULGE your passion for vacuums.
And, Jamie, We ALL have lost some sanity. It's not "just" you, but, perhaps "you" just a little more! Afterall, we put the 'fun' in dysfunctional. Running for the Pocono Mountains! John. |

Hey Wellcome also from me!

I am great Vorwerk fan and own MANY of them, starting from model S from 1938 to my daily driver K 135, just like yours, Now I'm planning to gift myself a k 140 complete with everything! I'm looking forward to getting it after Summer holidays. Again Wellcome and greetings from Italy. Tommy |
