Hello,
The headlight on my Kirby Heritage flops about, resulting in a messy appearance and difficult to change attachments.
What is needed to fix this and how is the question!
Thanks

It's been a long while since I worked on one of these...But as I recall, the headlight cover is held on with a roll pin.  The pin provides tension which allows the cover to stay up.  It may be worn.  Therefore, you'll need to knock it out with a long punch pin that's the same (or slightly smaller) diameter as the pin and then install a new one.  I don't think there's any way of doing it without removing the fan case first.  I always used to wrap it in cloth and clamp the fan case down in a vise in order to stabilize it.  Care must also be taken with the lugs on the fan case, lest you break one while knocking out the pin.

Thanks a lot!
Now heres a bigger problem, my legend 2 has a heritage 2 case on it,so i bought a legend 2 and took off the casing. I polished it up then put it on and now the headlight has trouble moving. Its fine till the end comes to going in the machine to go up and it catch's on the metal. I really need help ASAP with this, its driving me insane!

hmmm....as far as I know, the fan cases should be interchangeable.  Can you post a photo, so I can see what is binding the headlight cover?
