I got this back in may and never really made a video or made a post about this "gem".
I bought this for 120 dollars on ebay (which is what it would originally be sold for) Brand new in box. It came with everything. The manuals, warranty cards, a free bag, and a parts ordering sheet. The machine came to me completely sealed and untouched. The bearings are PERFECT which is really surprising. Usually NIB vacuums have bad bearings or need them to be replaced but this machine came to me completely mint. It's nothing really really special but it is something nice to have since i grew up with these machines. I remember seeing them in wal-mart and kmart etc. This particular machine would have been a mid line machine. It was made around 1998 (i do believe).

Nice find, those Elites do last forever. Do you have an original Elite. I'm always thinking green and thought it was incredible for a while that Hoover ran the Elites on a 7.2 Amp, Dimensions on a 7.3 Amp, Power Drives on a 7.8 amp and Hoover PowerMax/ Futura canisters on a 9.8 and 9.3 Amp motor systems. Energy Efficiency.

I could be wrong, but I think that was one of the last Elites since it has the 12 amp motor. But that is a great find!

Nice find. I always like the Elites, I would have liked them more if they were not so loud. I believe yours would be around the early 2000s or so as that's about when I read the last Elites were made. I've never seen one quite like yours as far as the graphics on the bag door, so I assume that's correct.

I also had one, same colour but my headlamp lens was slightly different, It sat in the plastic hood not around it like this one, rather noisy but a great cleaner, I still have it some were, but it was dropped and the chassis broke, It was our down stairs vac for 4 years
