 The upholstery nozzle on that looks identical to a vintage Hoover Celebrity one. It looks like it has the raised button on it for locking in as well? Does it have the red rubber fingers? Those rubber fingers were great, no other manufacturer that I know of used rubber on an upholstery nozzle, but it works great for grooming the pile and causing static electricity to pull dirt up to the suction stream. Hoover only used that style in a canister though. The upright upholstery nozzles had the shape of canister upholstery nozzle, but the whole thing was plastic, no bristles, rubber or other material for agitation. I say vintage because the Hoover Dimension 1000 canisters in the mid 1980's had a slightly redesigned attachment set which Hoover continued to use up until around 2009 when the Anniversary Windtunnel canisters hit the market and the PowerMax/ Futura/ Spectrum/ Windtunnel style suction units with locking wands were discontinued.

 The upholstry nozzle is the classic hoover design, first seen here on the 862 Constellation in 1959, although they are in black here rather than white as they usually were. And yes, it has the rubber fingers too. I would agree about its effectiveness (it was good on stairs too) although the Lux butterfly design here has ridges in the "wings" which went some way to simulate the effect

I must say I have not seen a black one with the red rubber fingers. These later examples had cut outs in the plastic and were no where near as good as the original with the fingers. They were very effective on pet hairs. | ||
