This is why you should NEVER leave your power unit on a water basin filled with water!  This is the bottom bearing of the motor from a D4C SE.  It was making a horrible noise and this is why.

Yes I see that all the time with old rainbows that water is just so hard on the motor if it is not taken care of properly thanks. Zach
