That is a US Hoover from the mid-2000s. I can't think of the name at the moment, but I am almost certain it was a Wal-Mart exclusive. One of the ugliest Hoovers I have ever seen.

I dont know about the vacuum, but I love the ad.

That is a Hoover Preferred. They were available at Walmart around 2005. I had almost bought one because they were only $60, or somewhere around that price. But they were out of them when I went to get one.

Those were actually very decent vacuums. I bought one, another collector Phillip Muller bought one, and I recommended them to a couple of friends of mine. Only one later had a switch issue down the road. I believe Phillip used his on his cleaning job, so his didn't last as long as the others in regular residential use. They were a bargain for what they were. I think later they were offered to dealers only in a different color and name but I can't recall.

I forgot about that! There were lime green ones that were labeled as a Hoover Sprint I believe. And another collector told me these were made by Samsung.

I remember those.... Never liked them because I thought they looked cheap and the power switch was halfway down the body....

They were Hoover's crappier models prior to TTi getting it.

They had this exact same vacuum being sold under the Sprint name in Canadian Tire here in Canada, too. I think it went for about $130, if memory serves correct. Never did like these....they just looked so cheap & flimsy to me.

I'm guessing it's one of Hoover's worst vacuums invented. Their build quality isn't that good compared to Windtunnel.
