I can't figure it out and it is keeping me up at night.

Before my dad found a Kirby G3, we had another Kirby. No tranmission, hard to move, but I liked it.

But I don't remember all the details, I must have only been eight years old or so.

It had a green bag with green accents, so it is down to only a few models. However, I can not find 360 photos of all the models.

The one thing I have to identify it with, is that it had a zipper on the side of the bag. When it was opened and the vacuum was turned on, a tiny bag, long and cylindrical, would pop out and inflate.

That is about all I have to go on, any ideas?

A DS 80. That is the only model Kirby made that was green.

Actually, I just found out what it was.

It was not full on green, it was the Kirby Omega, with the green bag.

That zipper on the back, that is where the dust pouch would protrude from. Also, I remember how they tucked the bag in there, it was totally an Omega.

Damn, now I can sleep at night without wondering what model it was!

Kirby bag

Wolfie,The zipper was to unzip when emptying as you reach your hand inside, hold scraper at top, scrape the dirt to Emptor as your hand remains clean, open bottom of emptor, push dirt out, close Emptor and zip zipper.

Hmm, I could sware this is the one, the badge on the bag looks tight and everything, same with the way the bag is tucked into the vacuum head.
