Ever since buying my Riccar 8900, I've gotten interested in Riccar's other vacuums. What are the differences in each of their Tandem air machines? From the pictures I have seen, the Brilliance looks thinner than the Radiance. Do these vacuums perform equally, or is the Radiance designed better?

They both use the same motors. The Radiance has a three row brushroll instead of two on the Brilliance, and an external HEPA filter which means a larger bag. Plus it uses LED headlights. I've had a Brilliance for a little over two months and it's okay, certainly not worth the $800+ they sell for new. If it was not for the collectibility of the Tandem Air machines I'd rather use your 8900. Those things are practically impossible to break under normal residential use. Apparently the direct air fans on the Tandem machines break often.

If you really want one, do not buy it new. I got mine on eBay for a little more than $200. I still think that was a fair price to pay.

Comes to the Rescue!

Woops, Time to Check the Bag!!!
