the photo above was after a strp down and a good clean the old lady told me she stopped using it because the zip on the bag got stuck stopping her from emptying it i have never seen a junior with a fuller bag the dirt was up to the top of the bag and over the top of the plastic tube i did try to take aphoto but the bag just fell apart as i got the zip up this is what i found when removing the bottom cover

the machine also had an almost complete set of tools the only thing missing was the most important bit THE CONVERTOR we emptied the cupboard looking for it no joy im afraid . After the clean up i took it in the house and tried it out it works a treat theres that familiar droning sound that i love that you only get with a Hoover cheers Tony

incidentaly the the v shaped cut in the front of the tool port was caused by this machin having the wrong belt fitted it had the flat belt on it used by the later junior although how it worked i have no idea maybe thats why the belt guard was missing i have seen these with all kinds of mutilations over the years i got one in once with a plastic bag fitted in place of the paper one and it was full of dirt

Jeeeeez, I thought the motors being packed with fluff and debris was bad, but that one has to be a record or something... :S At least they're pretty easy to strip & clean out though... :) |

Ahh right, ok, thanks for the info, however the crack had been glued up and had a piece of thick plastic on the back side to stiffen it a little. Also I think I did a post on this or something but I am not entirely sure, but, why does the zip not go all the way to the bottom on this particular junior? it seams to do on other juniors I have used/seen. |
