ok guys i just rescued a hoover canister vacuum of some sort from a local thrift store about a week ago, i was looking around and found a pile of pretty cheap little plastic vacuums you would see at Wal Mart. or other places.

anyways so i brought it home and cleaned it up just a tad, i tested it out and it works perfectly, and runs fine. good suction, wheels are great, not really that loud either.

the main reason i am posting this machine up here is because as the title suggests.

i need help, i cannot find any information on this particular machine anywhere on the internet.

and i am dumbstruck by it. i have heard of nearly every Kirby and Hoover vacuum there is and have never heard nor seen anything like this one. maybe it has eluded me and is really a pretty common machine, at which point i would have to suck in my pride and admit how foolish i was for not knowing. hehe

im really hoping someone can shed some light onto this situation.

Once you get past the improper use of the Link box, you find three links to three pictures (I'm not uploading them myself, they're not mine!!):

www.nowthatscookin.com/images/hoo...
www.nowthatscookin.com/images/hoo...
www.nowthatscookin.com/images/hoo...

and you find a Hoover Portable Model 2001, with the wrong bag fitted (takes type J apparently)... :)
