This is so extremely rare vacuum that this the second one I have ever seen in Finland. When I was a little boy I remember seeing a blue/white model the department store early 1980īs. I got these original dust bags about a ten years ago and finally now I found the vacuum. Actually, it is very difficult to change the paper bag on this model.

This is made in USA, maybe early 1980īs. It runs great and there is a very good suction. Only thing I have to check is the switch, it doesnīt work now. 800W motor.

I hope you like it.

Best Regards
Markus

I can't help but think that apple would probably use that name for a vacuum cleaner, slightly altered as "iMucky"... :P

It's interesting that it was made in the US for Europe, when it could have been made here in England for Europe (making it cheaper to buy, less miles to cover with transporting them), that said I don't know anything about them or when the british factory shut up shop... :\

Portapower

Nice. These were a good vac for everything but thick carpet.Other than plug & nameplate I think a US model looked identical including colors. The later tool rack was a nice idea.If the paper bags are same as our Hoover N they were meant to be used on a funnel type adapter with a rubber ring similar to convertible to hold paper bag, then used in place of cloth bag.Almost every Portapower I see uses the original cloth bag however.
