I know of the Brandywine color, white, I believe dark hunter green, tan, black and I am sure many more. But those are all I can think of off of the top of my head. |

From what I remember Big Bad Orange was one of them. |

Was that a color name that actually appeared on a spec sheet? I do remember seeing a Eureka Christmas ad from the late 1970s featuring an upright that was mostly white with Orange trim. |

If anyone has an archived collection of "Home Furnishings Daily" magazine, the corporate ads from Eureka Williams and The Eureka Company in this periodical always included the description of the "funky" colours being used on a new line-up. It would be great if someone has this valuable collection of periodicals.

If you scroll down this old Vacuumland thread, you'll see the Harvest Gold Eureka Power Team canister from 1973.

Both Eureka and Hoover had such stunning color palettes during the 70s and 80s, and I just love the inventive names both companies came up with for them! |

Sears also had quite an array of colors that they used to list in their catalongs, such as wedgewood blue, heather green and tawny gold was a few I remember from the late 60's going into the 70's. |
