A lot of you may know that 1990s Dirt Devils hold a special place in my heart. They are what I grew up around, as most of my family and friends had them. The Deluxe on the left happened to find me on its own, kind of. The other day my dad and I stopped at his office and I had to go into the garage. I happened to see this sitting there and was pretty confused. I have a few vacuums there, but I had never seen this. I asked my dad about it and he said that he had no idea where it came from! He said one of his friends probably dropped it off and left it with his secretary for me, but it's still a mystery as to where it actually came from. All this needed was a cleaning and a new bag and belt! It is in great condition and will make an excellent addition to my collection of '90s Dirt Devils. The flash from the camera makes it look as if it has scuffs on it, but it does not.

I found the Deluxe on the right in the basement of a vac shop and the owner gave it to me. This one still needs to be detailed, but it's actually in decent shape. It needed a brushroll when I got it, which was last August, and I just got around to putting one in it last week. Coincidentally, both models are from 1994, which I find neat.

Here is a picture from last year of all of the 90's Dirt Devils in my collection. Since this picture, I have gotten the following: the two Deluxes above, Ultra MVP, Ultra MVP w/ Cord Rewinder, Stick Vac Plus, Swivel Stick, Classic, Lite, Powerlite, and a Cyclone Deep Cleaner.

Wasn't the powerlite like a full sized roommate? what was the swivel stick? The name sounds very familiar.

The Powerlite is the soft bagged machine to the far right. I have two of those. The Swivel Stick is the same as the Stick Vac Plus, but with a different name.

What years do these favorites of yours were made? I know the Deluxes were from 1994, and the Ultra MVP was from 1998.

Thanks for the information. This was the powerlite I was thinking of.
