I have a Kirby Vaccum Upright no attachments. I got at a resale the serial # was scratched and was replaced with a stick on tag that said 511136 It has a tan handle bag has been replaced. Uses paper bags was serviced and runs really well I am hoping someone can help me find out the model it is a very nice vaccum. Thanks

You have said to me in an e-mail this particular Kirby is a Sanitronic VII, produced from September 1962 to 1965.

Here's all the changes I can see:
*Belt lifter (donor from an older Kirby) is painted sirocco. Original belt lifter for the SVII was teardrop-shaped, similar to the 560/561 belt lifter.
*Generic F/G-style bag system rather than with Sani Em-Tor.
*Other trim parts such as the cord and wheels (and motor switch) may still be intact.
