Got a press release this morning re the Eureka "Air Speed" line. Air Speed technology was a re-design that eliminated a lot of the suction and airflow challenging twists, turns and distance in the air path from the floor to the bag chamber or collection bin.
They've now added the "Suction Seal" to the line. It bears a plate that is intended to maximize suction delivery for hard and soft flooring. Further info's here:
Looks like they're trying to mimic the floor-sealing head on the new Dyson DC-41. Very cool for the competitive side of things, and given Eureka's owned by Electrolux, I'd wager this isn't a bad quality machine for the price.
Wouldn't mind hearing some more about it for now and how well it cleans and how solidly built it feels and is.
