Had a bit of a surprise today at Wal-Mart. I found our store stocking the type L bag for my Eureka Powermite. Arm & Hammer brand and $5.97 for three bags but they had them. Too bad they no longer have the vacuum. I love mine for what it can do. Also, they had bags from A&H for Kirby Generation vacuums! I never knew bags were available from A&H, let alone Wal-Mart, for Kirbys. Same price as the bags for the Powermite and, more than likely, not as good as the new cloth-like Kirby bags (thanks, again, Bill for the bags!) but it was unusual to see them.

Sometimes Wal-Mart stores gets old stock from other stores. Like ones that have closed or are going under renovations. Occasionally you will see out of date stock, ie. old scruffy boxes, etc.

I have seen kirby bags for sale at Hy-Vee and bakers grocery stores as well.

I've never seen Kirby bags, but I was surprised to find Miele, Electrolux, and Oreck bags there... not to mention Eureka F and G bags and sometimes Hoover Convertible belts.... the Arm and Hammer bags don't seem very good quality though.... they tend to leak, and the Convertible belts don't last long at all...

HEB does NOT carry ANY vacuum bags, & I'm not too happy!

Is Hy-Vee going to convert to HEB soon?
