I was given an Electrolux Cannister Vacuum, Model 1453, in excellent condition, with all attachments. I'd like to know the age of this vacuum, and what it's worth. |

My guess is somewhere in the area of 1985-1990+, judging by the wheel covers. Diamond Jubilee (1984-87) had shiny metal and Marquis (1987-88) had colored. Grand Marquis (1988-94) had colored ones and was also blue, like yours.
The power nozzle may give a clue also PN 4 1976-82, PN5 1982-85, PN6 1985-89. Hope this helps. You can go on the web and find the chart that Aeurus Electrolux posts of all their models since 1924. Hope I was of some help. Greg |

I'm no expert, but this was an economy model to the deluxe Silverado. My best advice would be to check eBay. It appears to be in good condition. You could probably sell this to the average person at around one hundred dollars or less (just a guess).
For a collector it depends on how badly he or she wants this model. I can't really put a value on this for a collector, when plastic based convertibles; Elites, etc. Are going for more on eBay than they are actually worth, to begin with. I will never understand the mentality of some people. |

Ray, Does that include all the Model 1453s? Also, did the CBs all use the Model L motor? |

is not the same as the Super J. It uses a 1205 armature and is smaller than Super J motor. |
