How Can I Remove Scuffs Off My Sanitaire's Hood?

Thanks, Daniel!

Polish it, have it re-chromed if the scuffs are too deep to polish out, or buy a new one... :)

Unlike with a Kirby where you can polish the aluminium to a nice shine, these vacs "cheat" by having the steel parts chromed, mainly because it gives it a longer lasting shine, and it helps prevent corrosion of the steel... :)
