My dads friend told me last night that I could have her Dyson DC25. She told me it was disgusting and that she hated it. Well, she dropped it off at my dads store this morning and I was so surprised! It is in amazing condition and works great! The brush roll had tons of carpet and hair wound around it but that's about it. I'm pretty excited about it! I have already vacuumed the store twice with it!

I am pretty sure that is the only way a Dyson is a good deal -- if it is free. However, kudos on the find!

We have 4 that we use in our home ( I don't like carrying a vacuum around ) they are great, but wait till you have used the dc40 the replacement for it, its even better.
We do get them in allot in the shop but its always for blockages and the famous , "its got a filter I never new that"!! Fantastic vacuum

That couldn't have been used much at all maybe 10 times at the most. The bins lose there shine fast and the hose loses its clean look very quickly too, to keep the bin looking nice buff it with brasso on the inside. to keep the hose nice we use a bottle brush attached to the end of pvc electrical conduit to wash them out when we service them. Keeps them looking great

I have a DC25 and have found it to be a very good vacuum. I especially like the very stiff bristles on the brush roll. It's only drawback is the handle/hose design. It is compact but awkward in use.

I have been using this a lot the past two days and I have really grown to like it! Although it does not clean as good as my DC17, it still does a terrific job! You're right about the hose, it is a pain to use, but I only use it for "quick-ups" or cleaning the stairs.
