Hey guys, I just found a Singer Simon while out thrifting today!Seems to be in good shape & fairly clean, although a spa treatment it shall have. I have always thought these looked like clever lil vacs. I seem to remember as a kid that they were available in various colors. I also remember a Kenmore version. This one came with the hose & attachments & I was able to find bags for it at the same store.

Anyone have any info on them? It is a model # SS 3000

Not the greatest vac by any means, but a welcome addition to my collection.

Singer Simon

As you say not worlds greatest vac,but they were unique and interesting in that the handle would fold and rotate. Most had a label picturing as upright, with hose and folded as hand vac. There was a seldom seen headlight model. There may be one hiding in place of which we do not speak.I have box of bags in attic.Probably the most common repair problem was the little hose from fan housing to bag coming loose at bottom.
