I was in my local Goodwill store this afternoon, and came across a Dirt-Digger vac, made in Columbus, Ohio (I think that it was Columbus). Just thought that I would post pics to see if anyone has ever heard of it, or knows its pedigree.

Is it from Royal? Air-Way?

Joe

Airway had a model called the Pricilla/pricillas or something similar. Looked almost identical to this!

This would have to be Airway I would say. The hose is airway and the exhaust vents are the same as my Handi way which is another airway made machine.

Dirt Digger!

The first Air Way Dirt Digger was a swivel top canister, then the Pricilla was introduced, then this came next, then it later became Handi Way Sani Clean, now its called a Black Night I think.

Small observation . . .

The cleaner's body is Electro-Hygiene derived -- which is what AirWay sold as its alternate canister. What confuses me are the attachments. Air-way hose -- yes -- but I did't get a full view of the rug nozzle. Also, the wands appear more to be chromed steel than aluminum.

Ruh-roh...

Maybe I should swing by the Goodwill tomorrow, after work and pick the vac up. I think it is selling for $4.99.

Thanks for the great info on this machine!

Joe

Attachments!

They used the Air Way S wand, but the rug tool was totally different...and better to my mind, all the other attachments were basically fit all, the floor brush was the same as a Fairfax except adapted for the AirWay type connection.
