I know from experience that some Kirby dealers did sell the Zip Brush WITH the G4 and NOT as an add-on. The dealer I worked for in the late '90's did that. I always thought that was fair. When I would 'check-in' the new vacuums as they were delivered I added the Zip Brushes to the box as I recorded the serial numbers and stamped the arrival dates on them.
But, other dealers were charging big bucks for the Zip Brush. As much as $100 I heard. That's WAY TOO MUCH!!! I remember that sometimes my boss would knock off money if someone did not want any of the attachments. He'd bring back the attachment kits and we would part them out. I think he only did that if someone already had a G-Series vacuum and the new attachments would just be put aside anyway. Justin |
