I bought a kirby d80 to use for work and would like to make it origional. Its basically new except for the converted bag to paper. I need the emptor aluminum case which I can't find. I need the green top bag part part as well. the green plastic bottom part I can get on e bay. the metal fan is brand new, motor brushes new and bearings needed grease but otherwise its in excelent shape. had to use acetone to un superglue the fan case from the motor houseing!!!! yes superglue. Anybody have these parts they could part with? thanks Joe. I'll post pics when I get home.

Green bag top (no "Dual Sanitronic 80" print as that was stopped years ago):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/250654860483...

The green bag guard (which sits round the base of the bag) are NLA, so you'd have to get a used good one, or go with Kirby's current black replacement...

The Sani-Emtor, you'll have to look hard for as they're hard to find, and when someone does find then, they usually get snapped up in no time...

As for the fan case being glued, it's not unusual, but usually it's silicone sealant that is used, to prevent dust leakage, rather than superglue...

I need to get my D80 some of them wheel extender screws, I keep meaning to, but keep forgetting!!! :\

Hi, Can someone post a picture of the Dual Sanitronic 80 with the words Dual Sanitronic 80 prited on the bag hanger it's self. I've only ever seen "Sanitronic" printed on the 562 and Sanitronic VII and Dual Sanitronic 50 printed on the bag hanger on that model. I've only ever seen Plain Dual Sanitronic 80 bag hangers.

I think I may have gotten the screen-printing thing mixed up with the other Sanitronics, cos I can't find any pictures, either that or my brain's making up pictures of such things... :S

opps

I was mistaken as well, I have the plain bagtops no printed ones for the Dual 80. I have printed and plain for the saniVII and dual 50. I have plenty of the plan green ones tho.

As far as I know the the bag top covers for the D80 were never printed on. The modle name was on the handle fork decal, but not the bag top cover.
