This afternoon I went into my local recycling store and found this carpet sweeper with a rechargeable battery pack for £2.50 ($5).
It has three spinning brush rolls and a dust box. I'm charging the battery pack just now, and will leave it on charge until tomorrow to ensure it has a full charge, but I did turn it on for a second when I got it home to make sure it worked, and it did. I didn't test it out on the floor though. Do they work well ? Also, do you have any information on my one ? |

Forgot to say, they're all made in China, have poor batteries. On the upside they're good usually on carpets and hard floors. As far as I know this one is like a copy of the Swivel Sweeper, not as well known, but not a rare model by any means. I think it's still on sale if you go through Ebay. Where is this recycling store, JM?

My grandmother used a carpet sweeper. It was an old Bissell, having a wooden case with sheet metal covers on each side that you emptied the dirt out through. |

You're missing a glider.... how does it push? I've had swivel sweepers, but the battery goes bad fast and the plastic breaks... Just threw mine in the trash yesterday! Never seen one that shape before! |
