Picked up a blue one today. I'd say it's a 8/10 cosmetically, and runs like a champ. It has a "magicord" and really a gaudy blue and white floral vinyl bag. There is a button on the front to adjust from low/high fan speed. Towards the back, on the side, is a twist knob for adjusting the height. It has a headlamp, and the motor turns on when you drop the handle down.

It says it has twin fans. Does this mean it was made by Singer?

It actually lifts the broadloom off the underpad!

There was also a brown and woodgrain one as well, but without the magicord. I left that one for someone else to discover!

Yup those are Singers, later Ryobi, made in Anderson NC or SC. Horribly noisy but quite effective, you really have to get the pile height just right or they're a bugger to push
