Anyone remember Ruby, played by Jenny Tomasin, advertising Goblin cleaners? As I said on another message, I didn't get TV until very late in life, but this is one advert I have seen in the past, as indeed I did see Goblin paperwork featuring Ruby. I am sure you've spoken about this long before I joined the group. Sorry. Well anyway, I was just reading that Jenny Tomasin died only last month.

Yes that was sweet. I never got to see Upstairs Downstair when it was current, but did see a lot of repeats over the years.

@vintagerepairer

Thank you. I watched "Upstairs, Downstairs" every week when it first aired here in the States and definitely do remember Ms. Tomasin. I'm sad to learn of her passing.

Also, thank you for the links vacbear58.

Venson

They make it sound so very desirable. Granted all the housemaids which came my way had been used, but even so, they didn't exactly have the build quality of Hoover or Electrolux. But then I suppose they didn't have the price tag either.
