I got the motor apart, and found the offending bearings on the shaft of the armature { never done this before so }. Do I pull this off the shaft ? then what ? pull it apart and change the balls ?? or change the assembly ?

Thanks'

You need a bearing puller to pull the defective bearing off the shaft and also the new bearing should be "pressed" on to avoid damaging it or the armature. The bearing that is needed is called a 39MM ball bearing. I would go to a local machine shop and pay him to remove the bearing and press on the new one.

Thank you vacman1961 ,

I ordered the bearings locally, we shall see . Have you tried taping them on and off carefully ? do I need , absolutely a bearing press and puller ?
