hi all,i really need to clean these carpets, and was wondering if i could use a
Kirby classic 2-CB rug renovator on my kirby heritage.now,i already have the heritage rigged to use a classic 2-CB nozzle because um threw out the classic 2-CB

As for as I know the Classic series and the Heritage series use a different type of safety switch. Like I know that I couldn't use my Heritage II hose on my Traditon. So if I'm correct, you can not use a Classic style nozzle on a Heritage. There would be no problem using an older nozzle, it won't hurt it, but there's the switch. You would have to use something to push down the safety switch, which is what I think you ment by saying you had no foam. Maybe you could try a hard piece of cardboard?

Ive used Dawn dishwasing liquid in a pinch, and it foamed beautifully, but use spareingly and dilute more than you would with the regular Kirby Instant Sudz,,or Kirby Carpet Shampoo.
