Just found this Kenmore canister at an estate sale today. Can a replacement hose be bought for this? Had a Kenmore canister awhile back but it was in such nice shape that I sold it. Plan on keeping this one. The hose has three pins that connect to the canister instead of two.

It's model number: 116.2745582

Nice find!

I don't believe that hose is available any longer. You may be able to get replacement tubing for the hose and reuse the ends. Or I think maybe a newer closed loop handle hose may work too. Some of them had both the variable speed control as well as the Off/Floor/Carpet selector like your hose does, and would use a 3 pin connection.

That hose massagemiracle posted looks like it will certainly work. Just has a different label.

same

messagemiracle's hose is indeed the same. I have both hoses and they work in the same kenmore.

You'll want that replacement hose, as it is repairable with a new hose section. The older style hose has molded ends that couldn't be removed. Once the hose started tearing, it couldn't be cut down or replaced seperately.

Thanks Ben,

Looking forward to receiving the hose. After using the original hose mine has started to split in many more places.
