Hi all out there in Vacuumland...new to the forum but been checking it out for sometime...
Was wondering if any of you UK guys could help me out with a problem ?
I purchased a Hoover Constellation 867A a few months back, its in very good nick but unfortunately I've managed to break the flipover floor tool and its beyond repair. The inside sleeve that the tool rotates on has shattered and cant be fixed....
I wondered if anyone knows of anywhere I could pick a second hand authentic floortool up, or if anyone has a spare one they are willing to part with...for a fee of course....lol....
Thanks in anticipation of your help...
Gordon.

Welcome to the forum, Gordon! This ebay listing has just ended, looks like it didn't sell - may be worth asking the seller to relist it? Vintage floor tools can be almost impossible to find if one gets damaged or is missing, even fairly common types like this.

Simon is right

The seller is a collector so is unlikely to chuck it - these do get a bit fragile over the years. good luck

Thanks Simon74 & Vacbear58....
I've been checking on E-bay but must have missed this one....
I've E-mailed the seller and asked what he's going to do....Hope I might be able to pick it up cheap....

On a completely differnt note...does anyone still have wash-in's...used to love seeing the pics of everyone together....Not noticed any threads on here for a while on that subject....

Thanks again for your help guys....I'll let you know how I get on..
Cheers
Gordon.

They still go on although they tend to be posted in automaticwasher rather than here
