How do you take the motor out and grease the bearings? Does the motor need to come out to grease bearings?
How do you take off broken cord hooks to put on new ones?

It's simple, you use a screwdriver, pull the motor apart, pull the bearings out, grease on the ball bearing after opening it up and swilling in a solvent, and clean out the upper bearing with cotton tip things and 3-in-1 oil, then when the tips come out clean pour oil in until it won't take any more, keep it placed on some kitchen roll or you'll have a mess to clean up as they have an overflow hole usually, then reassemble in the reverse order, after cleaning the dust out of the motor of course...

The cable hooks, they need the rivets to be drilled out, then fit new hooks (if you can find them) with a rivet gun...

Simples...

No problem, better to share the knowledge than to withhold it... :)
