I recently picked up an Electrolux 80th Anniversary model canister, and just yesterday got a Tristar 50th Anniversary model CXL. As I use them I will certainly find out which one I like better, but just for fun I was wondering which one you would choose as your daily driver and why.
In case folks aren't familiar with the Electrolux 80th Anniversary tank, it's a plastic body vac but has the newer, more powerful, motor. I believe it has the same motor that are used on the current Aerus canisters.
Also, do you know the differences between the Tristar CXL, DXL, EXL, and MG models? They seem to do the same job. What features or changes did Tristar introduce in the various models? Is one considered clearly better than the others?
