Hi Crevicetool, one thing I thought of was a company that made after-market air powered floor nozzles, and Singer offered the same thing with a couple of their canisters, in the late 1950's. I know this isn't quite what you're referring to, but I find it intriguing. You have to be right about the two vacuums for effective cleaning. I have my mom's last two vacuums an upright Eureka w/onboard tools, and Eureka the Boss Mighty Mite.

That is a very interesting thought. I guess I had never thought to put that togather, but it des make sense. I know singer never did make a tool kit for their uprights, you had to buy the hand vac. |
