What are your thoughts on Bissells from the 1990's, and early-to-mid 2000's?

Bissell

This period would include the SC(self contained) Trio(stick vac type),and first LiftOff.Without getting into quality, performance and longevity which was not always best have you looked at the design itself.I think these won design awards as did the first Eureka Mighty Mite.Does anyone have convenient pictures to post. The Trio was introduced with a full size fold out,top to bottom, that I have misplaced. The last time I saw the Trio there was a recall notice at WalMart stating fans had broken and come through fan housing.Again the matter of good design and ? quality.Does anyone have Trio floor tool? The long hose to faucet type steam cleaners, both round and oblong, were good examples of place for everything tool storage sometimes including wall rack.I should say hot water, not steam.

What about the older Powerglides, with the Powersteamer, Little Green, and Powergroom, with Pureair and Powerpartner?

The first upright Powersteamer
Big Green Powerbrush
Little Green (box-shaped)

btw, weren't those PowerSteamer (canister type w/faucet hook-up) from the 1980s?

Pretty much. My Steamvac makes all other extractors look like crap. And when did they first launch the upright steam cleaner? My research says it was 1997.

I think what I liked the most from the 90's by Bissell was the Liftoff and the carpet scrubber mentioned above. My best friend had one and she and I used it all the time. It was a great machine that did a job well done.

The Powersteamer canisters were horrible, as faucet hook-up was a nightmare.
