Hi All Dose any one know what the final bid was for the Kirby Vacuum 505 on eb-bay yesterday night. I was so upset the Kirby 505 was what got me started many years ago on vacuum collecting. I wanted it so badly. We had to go out and i was sure the people we were going to see had a cp well NO SUCH luck it was mint i have been waiting for years to get one I really though that would be mine. What can I say. I would like to no what it went for. Thank you Doug ( A VERY SAD KIRBY COLLECTOR. THE Kirby looked like it just came out of the box

It went for 451.00 and 40 for Shipping. You can find completed auctions by doing the search for say kirby 505. When none come up check the completed listings box and enter.

Sadly, unless by some miracle it can be found outside of eBay, I have a feeling the days of purchasing a pre-war or early post-war ALL-ORIGINAL Kirby at a fair price are gone forever!

I completely gave up on even considering purchasing or bidding on any original kirby before the DS50.
