I was wondering if anyone could give me any info about this model Hoover - I think I just bought it off of Craigslist and don't know that much about them...

Is this a "shake out" bag? If so, can it be converted to a disposable bag? Any info would be great!

THANKS!

grahm that is the classic hoover convertible 707 upright from the early 1970s in venitian gold....it was a promotional model and kept in the line for approx 5 years it has a snap bag that is bottom fill using the type c bag.....an all metal hoover convertible.....i think it was the most beautifully styled and always turned heads in my showroom.....an instantly identifiable vacuum like so many hoovers of its era....like the u4007

It's a Convertible! Boy, I'm so glad I logged on tonight so I could save this dilemma. I'm not totally sure that anyone else would've known that was a convertible. Oh, and it's a Hoover, too!

Ok... I'm just gonna be honest... I'm not totally sure what you said... Oh well.
