I stopped by my favorite thrift store yesterday and found this Hoover convertible model u4387. It was only $5.00 and is in good condition. I took it apart and gave it a good cleaning. I was going to grease the lower bearing but it looks like a sealed bearing. Did Hoover change to a sealed bearing on later models of convertibles? Thanks.

Samuel

That is nice and I have never seen one with the "Hoover Convertible" in a box in black on the bag, usually the text is in red.
