I found this beautiful vacuum today. It was packed on this 867A box.

Hi Markus,

Looks great and really good condition! I love the matching pink flex. From what I've seen I think we had the same colour scheme in UK models but a later design (with the hose connector at an angle). Does this model float?

Are the two main attachments separate ones for rugs and hard floors?

Rob

You always manage to find such interesting vacuums. This model certainly never appeared in the UK, this colour scheme first appeared here with the 862 - I know you have a couple of examples of the 867, do you know if that style of machine was sold in Finland in this colour scheme?

The combination carpet floor tool is almost certainly a replacement for the original - this style was only seen here on the Hooverette and earlier 417 cannisters - but with those they had a metal coupling - the plastic coupling was only seen here on the later versions Hooverette. It would be interesting to know if this machine was supplied with the larger combination nozzle (first seen on the 862 here) or a pink version of the type supplied with the 822/822A, similar to the US Aero-Dyne.

The machine looks to be in wonderful condition, congratulations on a great find
