Forgot to mention the other auction find today. This old GE upright. The top of the handle appears broke, the power cord is missing but after all it was only a dollar.

Bag is in nice shape overall, except this small repaired area

I had a find today at an auction, Electrolux Silverado, $2.00 with all tools.

Derek -

Are there any model number markings on that GE? I'm doing some research on GE models, and it would help to know. I think it was an AV-3 or AVF-3. Is that right? Thanks. - John

Derek, that GE is a nice find there! And you can't go wrong for a dollar. If you are friends with David Watters on Facebook, he can tell you where to get a replacement braided cord for the vacuum. And I am sure that you will find a GE donor handle for it eventually.

John - Model # is AV55

Rob - I actually deleted my facebook (too much drama on it for me). Is there an alternate way to contact him?

Thanks!
-Derek

Derek, I will look up Doug's profile & message you privately with his email address. I wondered what had happened to you when I didn't see you on my friend's list anymore....I'll have to add you to MSN Messenger to chat & keep in touch with you.

Rob
