Hello, I just finished stripping out the parts I needed from this model and was wondering if anybody needed parts from this before I junk it? The motor is still good, the power switch works, handle, lid, bumper, and hood are good (yea, some paint spilled on it). Pretty much what ain't useable is the cord and black body itself. It is broken where it should lock with the foot pedal and the cord hook at the top is also busted out. Which is why I was parting it out in the first place.

This vacuum would have been stripped out and crushed years ago when I was scrapping. But, mom needed a vaccum and this worked for her for about a year or two then she upgraded. So this sat in the attic for awhile, then was moved outside to the shed. The shed was torn down about two weeks ago and so this needs to go. What is left of it in a week gets scrapped and recycled.

If you need a part, let me know and shoot me an offer. My email is starsstripes767@aol.com

The vacuum getting the parts

Either now or later, the purple one is the daily vacuum. Just over 10 years old and still works great! It will be using the filters (they were almost new in this one, my old ones were too far gone). I also salvaged some hardware, the belt, and for future use, the light bulb, foot pedal and spring, brush roll, and the base.

How about

broomvac's profile picture
you save the metal handle and put it on your other swivel glide? That would be cool.

Nah

I don't feel like trying to customize my daily vacuum. It may or may not fit anyway, but the handle is here for someone who wants it! Just pay the shipping.
