Thats a pretty tame cat in the upper left corner...haha. Probably had to use gorilla glue on the poor thing to make it stay...(badum-CRASH)

Hey thanks for sharing this. Its fun to look at.

The Little Lux I have is much diffreent than that one shown-the one shown looks so much like a Douglas one.and the cat---he has no fear-or is it stuffed?Deaf?

The cat is a cardboard cut-out. I've seen those Little Luxes in the thrift shops, haven't picked one up though.

not a Douglas.

This was Regina Dirt Magnet. They had some clever 2 part magazine ads.As I recallthe suction of the vac on one page lifted an item on other page. Then the new CEO of American Elux, fresh from Harvard business school, had the vision and wisdom to aquire Regina. The Dirt Magnet and one other Regina also became Electrolux. Can you name the other?

How rare is this Little Lux? How good does it clean?

The "Little Lux" I have cleans just as well as a Royal Prince.didn't know Regina made hand vacs-now I know-the picture just reminded me so much of the douglas built hand vacuums. The Little Lux I have can't be used with a hose-unlike the Royal vacuum can.

I have two of the wider style Little Lux II and they clean beautifully, but they are as loud as a rotary saw! There's no way any living housepet would be out of hiding with it on! LMAO

The other Regina that Lux took and used was the stick vac with the PN. I have 2 of the Regina ones, and have seen the Electrolux one too, same color scheme as the handvac.

Use the Little Lux on my Stairs

Work great - but yeah very very loud! Uncharacteristic for a Lux. But like the baby it is - it makes itself known!

I've used one that I acquired a few years ago weekly and I was certain it wouldn't last but it has and its been indispensable.
