Several years ago I put together a Tri Star for my sister. I didn't have the correct beater attachment so I jury rigged a Eureka to work. She has asked if I can find the real deal for her. She likes the vacuum but the power head is problematic. Anyone have a unit for sale that might work with her Tri Star?
Thanks,
Kelly

What's the problem?

I Sell power nozzles in my ebay store "new2youvacuums". What is the problem with her power nozzle? a common problem is the cord from the hose falls out of its socket at the hose wand, perhaps all you need is a new "pig Tail" wire.

I had that cord falling from the hose problem with my Tristar, I just squeezed the pins slightly with pliers and it's been perfect since... :)

Multiplicity

My brother in law shortened the hose end and fashioned a clip to keep the mismatched wand in place. In addition the cord was lengthened because it would continually fall out. Now the motor is having issues and I suspect it needs a new belt as well. Its time to simply find the correct power mate and let it be a happy unit. My sister is hard to find gifts for or do things for her since she is what we used to call a D.I.N.K. so if I can send on a floor mate, so be it. I'll check out new2you.

Tri Star GE Miracle Mate

I bought the power nozzle you have for sale. Will I need to buy wands to make it communicate with the hose since part of the problem with the Eureka power nozzle was the wand not fitting correctly?

Is this the type of PN that is made by Eureka? If so, I would recommend either the Vibra-Groomer II brush roll or another equivalent better than that.
