the man i got my lux lite said he thought there was a spare belt in the back pocket,but there wasn't.so i started tareing down the machine and geuss where i found it?AROUND THE MOTOR!it was literly streched across the motor's comunitor box thingy!

and so the warmth of the motor will dry out your spare belt ---making it unusable-you end up BUYING one to complete your vacuuming job!

Ive seen spare belts kept in the EMPTOR- mid you, the EMPTOR- of an old Kirby!
