Does anyone know if it is possible to find and purchase the round air filters that fit to the rear of this unit (after the motor). I have looked all over the internet!

Do these units require periodic lube? If so can a novice be successful at this task? I have 2 of these XXX's, both seem to perform and sound very good. I have no idea of their history, but suspect they have not had much love.

Thanks for any info!

Electrolux XXX after filters

Hi Russell,

It is becoming increasing difficult, if not impossible to find the round after filters for the XXX.  I use filtrete filter material and cut it shape.  Also use the same material in my Electrolux LX.

Hope this helps,

Richad
