Hi, Here is my new Philips from the late 80s I think...
Needs cleaning etc still. I had to e-mail the pics to my other half and get him to upload the pics on here for me...

My Dirt Devil Eclipse Plus

kirbymodel2c's profile picture
Hi, here is my new Dirt Devil Eclipse Plus Which is the later version of the Eclipse. This has a clean fan system. The original Eclipse was a Direct/Dirty fan system. The original Eclipse was out in the UK in late 1992/93/94/95 and the later plus version late 95 early 96. I don't think the plus version was out long. The early version cleans better. So now I have both types of Eclipses. I just need the Eclipse Platinum now...But the Eclipse range of Dirt Devils are getting quite hard to find here in the UK like most early 90s DDs.

Hope you like them:o)

James

I like the Philips, does it have suction/speed control?

The DD looks like a mix between our Upright Plus(dirty air) and the MVP (clean air).

Hi

Hi Kenmore, No the philips don't have a speed control but the other highier models probably did.
Also yes the vac on the right is a Goblin Commander from the mid/late 1980s.
I have it in the window asking does anyone have one. As I need another for parts etc.
All parts for it now are obsolete....You don't see them around anymore:o(

Saying that my mums Sindy dolls/caravan are on display which is also what you can see in the pic as well.

I was actually at work. It was a last minute halloween costume idea. I won 3rd place. Everyone says being a vacuum salesman is my calling.
