I bought a Sebo X5 in blue today. I'm still at the family home in Lebanon, so I haven't tried it out yet. If anyone wants pics, I'll take some and post em. Nice machine.

Congratulations Patrick! Sebo's are probably the best built upright on the
market today. And the blue/yellow color is very classy. Let us know what you think of it once you try it out.

The Sebo had a little air leak, so it's at the Sebo clinic. I like things to be perfect, so I had to give it up for a short while b4 I get to use it. When I get it back, I'll post pics.

Sebo HEPA pack

Hi, everyone. My Sebo's back. I was going to take pictures today, but I got called in a few hours into my supposed day off, and I'm at work with an evening meeting, so pics probably won't happen today.

A common lament about Sebos is that their bags don't filter to the standards of other premium vacuums. But, Sebo makes a "HEPA-Box" that includes a HEPA pleated pre-motor filter, an exhaust filter, and 8 thick white disposable bags with plastic discs that cover the opening for disposal. The part # is 5827A. I think I paid about $70 for it. This pack doesn't appear anywhere on Sebo's web site, but some vendors' sites include it.

Felix

I was in a vacuum shop recently and i saw a line of Sebos and fell in love with the Felix. I took a spec sheet for one. Is that what yours is or is it one of the bigger uprights? The fabric bumpers on the canisters are interesting too but i wonder how long it will take before they start to fray.

Marty...

Have you tried the Riccar Radiance? I test drove the SEBO X5 and Riccar TOL Radiance about a month ago. I liked them both, but prefer the Riccar. It seems to be a little more powerful and sturdy IMHO. Let me know what you think.

The X5 is the full-size upright with the L-shaped head.

Sorry I haven't posted pictures. My home computer is having some problems, so I can't upload them until it's fixed.
