I found this Hoover Dial A Matic with Automatic Powerdrive at an estate sale on friday. I plugged it in and it screeches loudly from the powerdrive. The vacuum part and roller brush are fine, but the powerdrive needs replaced.

Wow that thing is very nice!

I bet this sold alongside my Hoover U4123. (that Fred and Robert have now)


The very last metal based convertible in this styling. From 1979 I believe.
