My New Find at an estate auction! Electro-Hygene (Royal) Canister Vacuum! |

I went to an auction in Richmond, In to find a Kenmore canister vacuum, but it wasn't there, in its place was an Electro-Hygene. It was pretty dirty, but I cleaned it up and Its not bad looking!

Wow, that's a great find! And all the attachments are there too. Those things have lots of power and they're built.......like a tank! | ||

I have the same machine. Its retro-looking design is wonderfully "over-the-top." Mine has a cord winder.

I would paid cash money for that blue Hygiene and driven down to Greencastle to pick it up in person on my way to the Convention. Oh well, maybe I'll win your auction and do that anyway. It looks like the hose is in the wrong end of the Electro Hygene! Interesting they designed it like that. Usually one associates the smooth bullet nose as the front, or inlet. But then again Compact did the same thing on their machines. :) | ||
