Hey guys, I'm back, haven't been here in a long time! My username was HOOVERMAN21 before but I forgot my password and I deleted the email which the password is mailed to. Just wanted to see what people were up to and give you guys an update on what's been going on here!

I got three new vacs since being here... well, one new and two used! A new Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Pet Rewind, a gently used Hoover Elite Soft & Light, and a Bissell Powerforce Bagless.

The T-Series was an impulse purchase. I saw it at Home Depot and figured, what the heck, and bought it. I like the color on this one better than on some other ones I've seen... it's a dark dark dark greenish-blue, doesn't show up well in that picture but maybe later I'll try to get a better picture.

The Soft & Light was from my mom's friend who wanted to get a new vacuum cleaner. I traded it for an older Hoover WindTunnel upright which I reconditioned a few months before. I've always liked the Elite style vacuums... even if they're not the TOL or best build machines, they work well and parts for them are relatively cheap, plus I grew up with a Hoover Elite 300 which I'm still using to this day!

The Bissell is the epitomy of how stupid some owners can be. My friend's mom had it for about a month and it stopped working and she figured because it was only $40 at Wally World, that you get what you pay for. Turns out the belt was broken and the inlet tube from the brushroll was clogged with hair and god knows what else. Put a new belt on it, cleared the clogs and it works just fine plus it's surprisingly quiet as well!

Finally, the Bissell.

This thing cleaned up well actually, and cleans pretty nicely as well... will probably give it to someone or use it as my basement vac.

not to get far off subject but that looks like a Kawai grand piano in the back ground- is it an RX-1 model?

It's a 1970 KG-1C.

I was close...... The RX-1 replaced that model in the 90's but your piano still has the wooden action which is far better than the RX-1. Great vacs and piano.

Lol I rebuilt the piano about a year ago, new strings, and hung a new set of hammers... but anyway, yes, I love my vacuums! :-P
