Hi guys.i have once seen a GEC cylinder vacuum cleaner it was a dark colour i think brown.if anyone maybe have pictures of such a vacuum cleaner i would love to see.

I don't know about the vac, but the General Electric Company, or GEC (not to be confused with GE of the USA) was a British manufacturer of all kinds of electrical goods back in the day, from telephones to televisions, the pretty much made it all... :)
